If you submit a copy of the original document, it must be certified (e.g., passport copy).
Certification can be done at:
-
The Greek embassy or a Greek consulate,
-
A notary public in your country.
If you cannot open an account in Greece in person, you may appoint a representative with a power of attorney to submit the required documents and sign all necessary forms on your behalf.
Steps to follow:
-
Contact a relative, friend, or lawyer who can act as your representative.
-
Visit a Greek consulate or a notary in your country of residence to issue the power of attorney and certify a copy of your passport or ID card.
